China glaze-wild mink

Heey here am i with a new blogpost

I got 5 china claze nailpolishes in taiwan bc they were on sale and they're actually pretty cheap!
So i chose 5 colors

Today I'm going to show the color which is called Wild Mink
It's a pink color with very fine shimmers
I really like this color!
The swatch on the china glaze virtual nail studio is not the same as the color in reallife...but I think that's a common problem with these "try it on" studio's

Haul-->Make up haul taiwan

I'd like to share my haul with you
I got a few make up/ skincare products since I got back in Taiwan

I went to the shopping mall first week, and got a few things at the Clinique counter
the first thing was the Clinique age defense BB cream (SPF 30 PA+++)
I heard a lot of good reviews on this, so I wanted to try it
I wouldn't say that's a great product, the common problem with BB creams is the color

They don't have color selections...the BB cream is suppose to oxidize and match your skin color, but sometimes, it just doesn't came out that well...
In the beginning, when you applied it for an hour or so, your face will look really pale. But after a few hours it does matches your skin a little bit better.
So normally I will apply an other layer of foundation over it....the result is very good, it looks naturally and the coverage is great.

And I also bought the Clinique super-moisture cream compact makeup in 05neutral
I haven't tried this yet...
I got it because I heard from the Clinique counter girl that if your skin type/condition changes with the season/weather, you need to change your skincare products and foundation as well
I have combination/oily skin in the summer time, so I use number 3 from the Clinique 3-step system.
But in the winter my skin will get drier, so I have to use number 2 from the Clinique 3-step system....which I didn't know
Because I didn't switch my skincare products in the winter, my skin got extremely dry, sometimes it hurts.

This foundation cream is super moisturizing, so I think it won't dry out my skin right?
But I don't know....I'll have to try it first before I can review it.

Then I got some cleansers
In the first few days, I had a really hard time to remove my make up...
because I didn't have a "decent" make up remover here in Taiwan
The only thing I got was the Dove make up foam cleanser, but it is such a bad product...I've only used it twice last year
Then I gave up...It hurt my eyes, Dove claimed that the foam will easily take off your eye make up, even the waterproof ones. But I didn't took off anything but my EYELASHES=_=
This year, I don't want to take that risk of losing my eyelashes by buying a cheap make up remover from the drugstore...
And since I was going to the Clinique counter anyway, I got their eye/lip make up remover....it's the one that you have to shake and mix the lotion part with the oil part
It works perfectly...even better than the Loreal ones
I can easily take off my eye make up by using only 1 cotton pad each eye

For the face make up, I use the Clinique mousse make up cleanser
you only have to use a little bit, and when you mix it with water, it will become a foam texture
I like this as well, the tube is huge, you can use it for more than 6 months I think?
Because I only use a little to remove my face make up every time and that is more than enough.

Then I got the "famous" concealer from IPSA

OMG I can't say how much I love this concealer
It comes with 3 colors, the main color is the upper color.
The color is the color that covers your scars or redness
and the other to colors are going to lighten up the areas around the scar.

It comes with a little brush and you can slide the brush back in

Next are the B-day presents that I got from my aunts

It's the KATE eyeshadow palette in BR-02
I love love the colors and especially the shimmer color on the left.
you can create a simple look or a smokey look with it.
The colors are easy to control, you can't go wrong with this palette.

The other thing that I got was the Maybelline hyper sharp liner. This is only available in Asia, just like the gel-liners
This product is awesome, it's a automatic liquid liner, and the brush is easy to draw with.
the color is intense and it's waterproof and oilproof
the liner stays on all day and it's also easy to remove
I think this is my HG liquid liner....!
I love it.

The Jill stuart gel liner in 05 gold shell(Limited edition)
It's a limited color, and I use it to brighten up my inner corners and lower lash line.
Jill stuart make up always comes in a fancy princess-like packaging
The gel liner has a perfume smell, I don't know what kind of smell it is, but it smells okay^^

Last but nit least
Kose curl lock mascara long

I don't know if I really like this mascara, it does holds the curl...
I thought....at least it will give me SOME volume....BUT it didn't..
maybe I asked too much...because it's a curl mascara...but yea...
I don't know....I think I'm going to get an other volume mascara..

And that was it...
I didn't got that much right?

Heey guys!~ it's been a long time (again) since I updated my blog
If you guys follow me on fb or maybe twitter you'll know that I'm in Taiwan now for the summer vacation
I'm kinda busy, or should I say....it's so much fun here that I don't have time to write a blog....(honestly the second one is true...haha)
Since I got back in Taiwan, I did not shop a lot....at least...not like the past few years..
in the past few years I went really crazy with shopping....like money isn't an issue at all
But this year I took an eye on my money...I say to myself: DO NOT easily pick up money at the ATM!

Despite on the fact that I was saving money....I still secretly shop....haha ~~bad girl~~
I ordered some nail polishes this time
When I came back to Taiwan, I didn't take any of my nail polishes with me, because I thought it wasn't necessary....but then, I noticed how lonely my nails look without clothes on...
So I decided to order nail polishes from this Taiwanese brand called ŰNT

The brand became famous in Taiwan because of their medical-grade skincare line
They believe that all people deserve healthy and comfortable skin equally, but those skin care products should not necessarily be a luxury
So UNT launched their medical-grade skincare line at an affordable price

"UNT" is named after an abbreviation that's taken from the word "Untitled" because they believe that beauty cannot be represented by one verbal expression alone.

UNT is sold in 91 countries, making it Taiwan's no.1 online skincare brand.

I knew this brand only for 3 years, first I noticed UNT is because their nail polish line, they claim that even pregnant women can wear these nail polishes, it will not have any harm to the baby.

I purchased their products last year for the first time.
I got 2 nail colors, which were golden glitter nail polish and silver glitter nail polish.

The quality was great, the glitters were really pretty but not easily to take off

This time I tried to order "normal" polishes
The nail polishes cost NTD199 a bottle, that's about 5 euro's each

Let's get on what I ordered this time

I ordered a set and 2 separate colors
The set is called "White bunny on moving carousel" (What a funny name) and it's from the newest collection called:"My quintessential self"
The slogan is: 18 colors, 18 personae, who do you want to be?
Every color has a name and a description of the personae.
I think it's very special, creative and fun.

A set comes with 6 nail polishes
Every time when they launch a collection, normally with 18 colors, they will distribute the 18 colors into 3 sets of 6 colors
My set comes in a cute box, that opens like a drawer.
in the front of the drawer part, it has a pink bow and when you pull it, you'll see the six nail polishes that come with the set

This set contains:(from left to right)
MQ055 Ravishing Leah- I'm bad but irresistible
MQ090 Shopaholic Jessica- What I can or can't solve in real life, I solve it through retail therapy!
MQ030 Nostalgic Emma- I long for the past, the memories, and the nonexistent
MQ065 Eloquent Sacha- I have the power to hear the unspoken and speak the nonwords.
MQ010 Carefree Natalie- I am a nomad. Everyday is a new journey.

And I also got PR025 from the pink fiction collection(Slogan: Paint your pink fantasies with 16 exhilarating shades)
PR025 Magician's hat- A rabbit? A dove? I want my Mr. Right!

I got the nail care set for free by purchasing the rabbit set.
It contains 1x prelude base coat, 1x finale top coat and 1x awaken nail polish thinner
The base coat and top coat sucks....I don't even want to give them an other chance

I tried to apply, base coat-color-top coat
but it just wouldn't dry..no matter how many time I spend on waiting for them to dry
It totally ruined my day=_= I had to scrub my nail polish off in the metro because I got so irritated by the thick and bubbled nail polish coat on my nails.

Regardless of how irritated I got from the base and top coat
I still want to give the color nail polishes a second chance
This time I am satisfied
The nail polish dries in a normal pace, even if I put on the second layer, no bubbles appeared.
The brush is convenient, not too thick, not too thin.
The consistency is great, not too watery, not too creamy.
The pigmentation is nice, the color that appears on the nail is almost exactly the same as the color in the bottle.
Moreover, UNT nail polishes do not have the strong stinky scent that the traditional nail polishes have...
at least not when the polish dries on your nails, it has a light perfume scent.
Unlike some nail polishes with that really strong alcoholic scent that stays on your nails for more than 1 day and still smells really strong

Top coat was 100% unnecessary....The color appears shiny on the nails without putting anything on top of it....
I think I can throw the free topcoat away?
Honestly, I really don't care about it....It was free anyway?!

I also got the rococo mascara eyeliner for free because purchased over NTD1500
The mascara looks like this:

It has two ends, one for mascara, the other for eyeliner.
I will write a review on it when I have tried it, so stay tuned

All in all, I really like the nail polishes in general...(except the base and top coat.)
I think the nail polishes are worth the price....

The great thing about UNT is that it ships worldwide for free
But the price on the international site is a little bit more expensive than the price on the Taiwanese regular site.
And the weird thing is...it's not even free shipping in Taiwan...only for purchase that is more than NTD1500 has free shipping...(Not that the shipping costs are expensive or so...it's only 1,2 euro's..haha but still weird)

The brand My Beauty Diary has been known around the YT Asian beauty guru's
My Beauty Diary is a Taiwanese brand, it started with producing masks and now it comes with make up removers and facial washes.
My Beauty Diary became popular in Taiwan because of its large collection.
I've wrote a blogpost about this brand when I first tried them
I ordered a special edition set on Ebay, and it came with 15 different masks
Loved them all
And the they keep launching different collections, some are permanent, and some were limited.
They had this floral series limited edition masks, the packaging is so cute, but too bad, I was too late to get my hands on it

Review:
I tried this mask and I like it a lot, I can see more effects on my face than the other ones
When I put the mask on my face, it feels really cooling..it's suppose to reduce oil and gives you a dewy skin.
First when I applied this it hurts, because of its cooling purpose, and it felt tingling. But after 5 minutes, I couldn't feel it anymore.
The scent is not really nice, it's strong..it smells a little bit like toilet aromatic

The essence isn't easy to absorb, but I think this is in common with any sheet masks? I would've to massage it into the skin after wards.
The amazing thing appears next morning, my skin felt extremely soft, dewy and refreshed
So I really like this mask, but too bad, it's limited edition=(

the sheets are thin and moist enough
it covers your face perfectly
after using any my beauty diary masks, my skin feels softened, smoothed and hydrated.

The ingredients are a lot and complicated
the main ingredients are:
water, glycerin, propylene glycol, butylene glycol.

How to use:
after applying toner, tear off the plastic sheet and apply the sheet mask gently on your face. leave the mask on for 20-30 min and take it off. if there are still essence left, massage it into your skin so that it absorbs easier. No need to rinse off with water. After using the mask, repeat the skincare routine like cream so that the moisture is locked in to the skin

every mask contains 23 ml of essence(that's more than enough)

Don't leave the mask on for over 30 minutes or till it dries, it will cause hypoxia and redness to your skin, your skin will get irritated if you have sensitive skin type.

maybe it will be more expensive when you order online

Heey I know it's been a long time since I shared my monthly favorites
But since I got more time to write blog, I'm going to share my April favorites.

1. Urban Decay Naked palette
I LOVE LOVE this palette...I've been using this palette for almost everyday since I got it.
Especially the colors: Virgin, Sin, Sidecar, Darkhorse and Toasted
These colors are so amazing, the pigmentation of the shadows is great and the color payoff is nice as well.

2. Sephora perfection primer
I got this on the Sephora sale for 3 euro's? it was 17 euro's before the sale...
This primer is great because it helps your foundation last longer and it gives your face a dewy, healthy look
The texture is soft and easy to apply
It has pink pearly shine, and that makes your skin glow.
I really recommend this foundation primer!

3. Revlon Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin # sand beige
Just like everyone says...this is probably the BEST drugstore foundation!
I don't have to say a lot...JUST GO BUY IT!
The coverage is perfect...and it last all day long, what do you expect more?
I noticed that it controls oil. I have really oily skin on my T-zone, sometimes I need to blot my face once in an hour, but when I have this foundation on, I don't feel like my T-zone is that oily as usual.
The only negative thing that I can think of this foundation is probably that this foundation is not the easiest to blend, it dries fast, so you have to work very quick. And don't apply this with a regular foundation brush, you will see strikes on your face, when you are in a hurry and don't have much time to blend.
Apply it with a sponge or a flat top brush like the E.L.F powder brush or the Sigma F80 Flat top kabuki brush.
O...forgot to mention...I don't like the packaging...It doesn't have a pump=_= it's so hard to control the amount. But I heard that they DO have a pump version in Asia..So I'm going to check when I'm there.

4. NARS Blush #Orgasm
I Love love this blush....the color is beautiful and the pigmentation is perfect. The golden shimmers show good on my face, and add glow on my skin.

5. Revlon Colorstay liquid lipstick in #065 Prized Peach
This color is so amazing, it matches my skintone perfectly. the color is peach, and it's so easy to apply..
This liquid lipstick dries in a minute, and I always add lip gloss on top. Any translucent lip gloss will show nicely on top of this liquid lipstick.

I pair it off with Anna Sui sui lip gloss in #307

7. Maybelline color sensation lipstick in #445 Ginger Spice

I said it before, this color is not the color that I used to buy, but it looks so nice on me and became my favorite lipstick.

6. Maybelline Color Sensation lipstick in # 442 Coral Tonic

Orange/Coral is IN this year. I found that I have Coral lipstick that I bought a year ago? But I never had the chance to wear it. Now that it's in, I worn this very often, and it actually looks nice on me as well=D

7. Gosh soft'n shine lip balm in #Sweetheart.
I've been talking about this lip balm in the last few blog posts. So you know how much I love this lip balm.
Especially this color. It's sooo beautiful, it matches everyone I think..
(Shit, I should have bought more during the sale..)

Skincare part

1. Naruko apple seed& Tranexamic acid Soothing white hydra essence

I saw this product on the Queen show(女人我最大)
it says that this essence can light up acne scars, so I decided to get this essence.
I've been using this for only 2 weeks, I can't say that I noticed any difference.
But it feels really hydrating on my skin. I use this together with the Clinique 3-step system, after the exfoliating lotion 3. Sometimes I feel like the Clinique lotion dries my skin, and after I use this essence after the Clinique lotion, my skin feels hydrated again.

And I really like the packaging design. It actually has a stoppage at the opening of the bottle so it doesn't evaporate.

2. Naruko Marjoram and lavender brightening eye cream

I love this eye cream because it's texture is great. It's soft and easy to apply. It absorb quickly and it feels great after application.
I noticed difference, before applying this eye cream and after.
My dark circles do look less dark, and more bright.
I will definitely repurchase this product.

3. Naruko Job's Tears whitening and cooling Night Gelly
Job's Tears is a grain-bearing tropical plant. Job's tears is actually the grain of this plant. This plant are used in many ways, and it's very common in Asia. In Korea they have Job's tears tea.
In Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, they have job's tears desserts
In Thailand, they have job's tears soy milk.
In Vietnam, they have job's tears cold soup.
It's also used alongside with other herbs in the traditional Chinese medicine.

I Love this night gelly because it's so moisturizing after I applied it for a night. The morning after, my skin looks great...it's glowing and tight.
the gelly absorbs well so you don't have to worry about your hair, that it sticks on your hair all night long.
I also apply it on my neck, because I don't want to see any discoloration between my face and my neck.
The next morning you just have to wash it off with a facial cleanser.

Today I got a little bit irritated by my purses, because it literally filled up my closet~
So I pulled out all of my bags/purses, and I count them...

I Had 43 bags/purses...OMG (actually I have more in Taiwan, but since I couldn't bring all of them back to Holland, I just leave them there)

Review--> Gosh Soft'n Shine lip balm

This blog post is gonna be a review on the GOSH Soft'n Shine lip balm

I got 6 colors: #30 Barbie, #32 Angel, #33 Scarlet, #37 Soft touch, #39 Sweetheart, #41 Kiss.

It was 75% at the drugstore Kruidvat so I got 8 colors in total. 2 for my aunts and 6 for myself. it was only 2,12 euro's each.

This product comes in 10 colors, the other colors were not so interesting for me, otherwise I would have bought them all. HAHA

These lip balms are so amazing. They're long lasting, moisturizing, have good color pay off and are glossy and shiney

The texture is soft and easy to apply. It comes transparent on your lips, but you can see the color very well.
Some of them are sheer and some of them contains fine glitters.

Starting from #30 Barbie
It's a cool toned pink with no shimmers

It looks bright on my lips...I like it very much!

#32 Angel
It's a red pink color with golden shimmers
It has the same name as the MAC lipstick in Angel, but they are actually very different xP Not even close.

#33 Scarlet
This is my favorite color. It's a combination of red pink and coral. It has bigger yellow orange shimmers than #32 Angel. So this one is shinier than Angel.

Yeah I know it is a long time ago....4 months...I can't believe it!
I always wanted to do a blogpost, but I was just too busy with my study, social life, getting my drivers license and other things...
BUT since I quit my study last week, I feel so free now....like a heavy stone on my shoulders just disappeared!

This study was too difficult for me, (and believe me: I HATE TO ADMIT THIS)..even for the other people. I missed the basic of mathematics and that made it be even more difficult, (This is not an excuse, I always think: if you do your best, you will succeed).,even if I do this year all over again. BUT at a certain point I got very depressed(it was around the middle of March), I couldn't see the light anymore, it's like I'm floating in a black hole, don't know where to go and what to do. And doing the year over again is like digging an other hole for myself and jump inside that hole.

Furthermore, I was being unconscious about everything, when people talk to me, I couldn't get concentrated and LISTEN to people, of course I heard them, but it were my brains that couldn't pick up anything what they said, so I couldn't say anything back. I couldn't just go to people and talk to them, not because I don't like them.....actually my heart said, you have to talk to people, but my brain said "NOTHING"!!!!! because I was unconscious!! I thought I lost the human ability to talk to people.

Things were going like that for a while till the end of March, when the situation got worse....I let things go, I gave up, I wasn't doing my best to fix things, I failed.
One thing I did right was: I didn't turn my back to the people who were always supporting me and who loves me. I knew that I can always count on them and they will be just as supportive as they have always been. I am really thankful.

because of the support and love I woke up and started to think...I had deep thoughts and I was thinking really hard. Finally I realized: things can not be like this any longer, I can't let people down by being unhappy, and since my motivation was gone(because of the bad grades) and I got mentally ill sometimes....I had a conclusion, I said to myself: THIS IS NOT GOOD for me anymore..I have to make a decision.
So I decided to quit...that's the best thing I can do
It was a very difficult decision to make....and I am proud of myself that I was brave enough to make this decision.

But this doesn't means that I'm not going to study anymore...I'm going to look for other studies that are easier, healthier for me and (most important: )that makes me happy

"One door got closed doesn't means that the other doors are not open", this is not the only way to move forward. If you keep looking forward, you will find the right path.
This path may not be easy to pass through, but if you really want something, the universe will give you the power and support you to move forward.
And even though you have chosen the wrong path, you will learn from it. Like I did! I didn't spend a year for nothing? To be honest..I learned a lot! And what you've learned is from you, nobody can take away from you...

I will be fine=D I will survive!

So, try to be happy....A lot of people thinks being happy is really easy(for example having tons of money, power or owns everything!), but there are enough people in the world, who got tons of money and power, but still being unhappy and unsatisfied. I believe if you want to be happy you will find out what will make you truly happy. If you're unhappy right now, you have to do a self-review, just ask yourself, why can't I be happy? The answer to this question, is it a thing that you can change about? Or the thing that has to be changed is yourself?
Do the things that you can do, don't be late, as long as you're happy!

Haul-->PRIMARK Hooffdorp

Since I don't want to begin with the "opening sentence" that I always begin my blog-posts with.. I just go straight to the subject=)

Last Friday I went to Hoofddorp with my friend Wendy(she's is also a blogger, here is her blog) Since the Primark has opened there I always wanted to go there! Because I've heard that Primark sells a lot of goodies for an affordable price(well actually CHEAP!)
I really had full expectations! So I was very excited

I even got more excited when I got there in the city center of Hoofddorp and saw that EVERYONE walks with a bag from Primark...haha

But I have to say..after I spend 15 min there..I got disappointed..there were so many people and everyone was like: OMG this is so cheap so I HAVE to get this~~!
And I was like: OMG These things look so CHEAP...NEVER that I'm going to buy these....
Totally the opposite

Regardless to the fact that the clothing looked very cheap, I did find the jewelry very nice
The quality is okay(at least SOME of them) and they have a pretty huge collection to select from
So I only ended up with jewelries....
The price of them are between 1,5 euro and 5 euro

Here are the things that i got

1 ring set(Primark)
and I also got 2 brooches for Wai but I already gave it to her xD

I really like the ring set...it was only 2 euro, but the pearl is actually too big xD
I can deal with it xD

And I also got a scarf from the H&M...it has a floral print, I think it will look really nice in the spring

And this necklace from Sascha ( I didn't know that Sascha sells accessories) It was 50% off, so I got it for only 5 euro
I really like the key and the rhinestone heart....it's a little Tiffany & Co look a like..but since I can't afford that one, I'm happy with this one=D

Let us start with a quick update and some confessions
As usual, i've been really busy with things, not only school but also hanging out with friends.
I've been hanging out a lot last month, I like to hang out with friends but I really don't like to go home late, cuz my mom will get worried and it's not safe at all to walk home at night alone

Also I'm not really doing well at school. my university life started in September, but I still got 0 studypionts:O I know..it's bad! If I could turn back the time, I wouldn't let this come so far.
I've been really lazy lately, if I didn't feel like to go to university I just skip lectures, like it's non of my business. It gives me a really bad feeling so I tried to ignore that feeling most of the time, that's why I never felt guilty when I skipped lectures.

I've been shopping a lot, I know that I stopped updating my hauls and that kind of things on my blog...but one thing is clear..I never stopped buying things
Money just disappears...Somethimes on a daily basis(!!)
That's also the reason why I had to work a lot for these expenses, which detriments my time for studying....I tried not to admit this fact, but now I have to face this problem, cuz just like I said...this is a FACT!
I made up this excuse when people ask me how I dealed with this problem ( work and study)
I always give them this answer(my standard answer): Being tired can be defined in two ways: physically tired and mentally tired
When I'm physically tired doesn't means that I'm mentally tired and when I'm mentally tired doesn't means that I'm physically tired!
Studying makes me mentally tired, but not physically tired, so why not spend the time for my head to rest for working? Cuz I don't have to use my brains when I'm working! kill two birds with one stone! my body and my brain can rest in at the same time
But I cannot use this excuse anymore, because when I'm tired, means that I need to rest, whether I'm physically tired or mentally tired

Lately I've been very stupid, I wasn't really taking care of myself. Before Christmas I went to lasergame with my colleagues.
I was playing the game really fanatic, I didn't now what I've done, but I ran into a wall(it was really dark!)and I fell...
I bruised my ankle, it got really thick and it hurted like hell!
I couldn't stand on that foot, so I went to the first aid at Christmas eve
They took a photo of it, made sure that my ankle isn't broken
I had to walk with crutch for 3-4 days....I hated to walk with that thing!
But now it's alright, I don't need them anynore

Futhermore, I have to loose some weight.....cuz I don't feel well now....I seriously can feel the fat
I gained like 8 kilo's in the past 4 years...I think it's time to get back to that weight start from now

I've been complaining about my life....
cuz it really sucks, this isn't the life that I wanted/expected featuring all these failures of mine

So I'm definetly looking forward to 2011
A fresh begin and a better year to be

Here are my goals for 2011

1. I want to succeed my study, no more skipping lectures, good grades and always doing my best! No regrets!

2. Save more money and make more money, eventhough I know it's difficult, but still....

3. Loose some weight(>5 kilo's)

4. Get my Dutch drivers licence before my 20th birthday

5. Learning Korean language

6. No more failures, I want to be more confident in myself

7. Be more independent

8. I want my grandma to get better so that she can say goodbye to all her lung cancer cells

9. I want to get rid of my acne scars, on my face and back

10. I want to have somebody to love me from head to toe, just the way I am, including all my inperfections and failures

And last but not least:
I want my family and friends to be safe, healthy and happy

Say bye bye to the bad behaviours, laziness, mistakes and sad memories.
New year=new chances=fresh start=better life

Be greatful with what you have, always looking forward and let the past stay in the past, take the good memories of 2010 with you and let us rock 2011!!

I think I've tweeted about how "un-interesting" the venomous villains collection is, when I first saw the pictures,
but after a while, I was looking around on internet and I started to wondering how they look like in real, so I viewed some swatches on temptalia.com
Some products are really amazing!! and pretty as well!

I wanted to get the beauty blush in # Bite of an apple, lipglass in # Revenge is sweet and # Hot house

First I love the packagings of this collection!

Today I went to the MAC store, and I saw there are still a few products left from this collection
So I asked if they had the lipglass #hot house in stock, and the make up artist said, YES! It's the last one!!
I was like: OMG! I have to get it
I didn't think...within a second I decided to buy it, just because it was the last one! hahahaha
I tried it on when I got home and i have no regrets!
because its sooooo pretty!
It may look very purple-ish in the container, but it's actually not that purple!

Got a pair of boots drom Cafe moda, I love this store =D they have nice boots

And Finally my new winter coat, i got it at the C&A friends and family sell for 25% off

But even without the discount I would get it, because it's so flattering. red is a nice color for asian skintones. it makes me stand out even more haha xD

Long time no see,
I've been very busy lately, so I stopped blogging for a while.
But, being busy doesn't mean that I stopped shopping :o hahaha
I wanted to get the Cyndi lipglass since I first saw it on internet...I think it's so pretty
and since I also own the viva glam cyndi lipstick I want this one even more
The color are not very similar.
The lipglass has more dimension and the lipstick is also pretty but not as flattering as the lipglass

Last week I was hanging in the city mall in almere, and I looked around, the maybelline superstay lipcolor was 50% everywhere...
I read reviews before about how amazing these are, so I wanted to try
I swatched almost every color I could find...I tried to swatch every color by looking them at different drugstores..
Finally I decided to buy....
I wanted 2 colors number 431 (silk pink) and 419(raspberry)
but since I couldn't find 419, so I bought #431 first to try
And I like it....the consistency is good, though it dries within a minute=S after it dries, you have to apply the other side, its a lipbalm and it makes your lips shine and glossy
It does its job, its super long lasting....but it does chip after a few hours..but I don't mind to apply it once again :P
And then after 3-4 days I stopped by the Kruidvat in Muziekwijk, then I found #419!! YAY

I have the swatches of #419...I think I lost the swatches of #431
I really like this color, it matches my skin color and makes it appear brighter=)
It's so pigmented and smooth to apply

I really like the lipstick in general, it has a large collection of colors and the price is very reasonable

Last week I went to the MAC store to buy the MAC pro palette and 4 more eyeshadow refills
Since I study in Amsterdam it's easy for me to go to the MAC store by public transfer
I already knew what I wanted to buy, cuz everytime before I go to the MAC counter/store, I'll do my "homework". I will check on internet how the colors look like so that I have an idea of which colors I want to purchase.
I was there and looking at the eyeshadows, I had a list of few eyeshadows that looked nice on internet. I wasn't sure if I wanted them, so I swatched them once again. But still, there were so many eyeshadows that made it difficult for me to decide which 4 I want to take.
The make-up artist helped me, she recommended the same color I wanted to buy, it was really funny. I told her which one I had in mind, and she said, thats exactly the one I wanted to pick up for you xD

In the end I picked up these four colors: Era(satin), Orb(satin), Charcoal brown(Matt) and Creme de voilet(frost)
AND ofcourse a 15 pro palette

Anyways...lets start.
First I depotted my 11 MAC eyeshadows. There are so many ways to depot MAC eyeshadows, I looked on youtube by searching: How to depot MAC eyeshadows?
Then I found a several video's that were useful.

Even for me it's easy XD
In 30 min I depotted 11 eyeshadows, it doesn't take long at all!
The most difficult part is to remove the glue xD....imagine that!

I'm trying to update my month favorites on time=) I think that's a good thing, cuz in the past, I always forgot to post my month favorites....and I don't want that anymore.

Since school!?(trying not to call it school anymore...) I mean university started in September. Every morning I have to wake up early and I don't have much time to apply make up...especially eyeshadow..
So I tried to keep it simple and at the mean time make my eyes look nice=)

The first thing is:
MAC eyeshadow in Carbon
It's just a matt eyeshadow, you can do either a smokey look or just use it as eyeliner. When you use it as an eyeliner, it will soften your look and it doesn't look as harsh as a normal eyeliner. I really like this! and I think every girl should have a black eyeshadow :P

Benefit Coralista blush
This blush is beautiful, it has fine shimmers and the color is pinky coral
I really like this blush especially in the morning, it makes your look fresh and cute
AND the most important thing is: you can never go wrong with this blush:P

Shiseido MJ mascara
I like this mascara because it's sooooo black, I always buy black mascara's but not all of them are "really" black! This one is really black, and after I curled it with my lashcurler, i apply 2 layers and it stays curl all day long...
of course combined with the mascara base from MJ aswell:P

MAC paintpot Bare study
This paintpot has been my all-time favorite.
Since I don't apply that mycg eyehsadow in the morning I don't have to apply TFSI and paintpot.
So I usally skip the TFSI and apply directly paintpot on my eyelids, so that the eyeshadow won't crease. and ofcourse I won't last as long as TFSI+paintpot(DUUUH)!

Last week I ordered 2 items on Ebay....I always wanted these 2 items.
first: the Seche Vite....
I've been hearing/reading everywhere how amazing this thing is, and I finally decided to order it
I tried it today, it's okay, but not as magical as I expected =S Or I just had too high expectations?
It makes nailpolish dry faster but not really fast like within 1 minute? It took like 2 miniutes to dry completely....
But could do anything I want after it dries completely, I did the dishes after it dries, and my nail polish looks just as nice as before.

And the other item was the O.P.I Dulce de leche=)
I tried it on in Korea, it's from my aunt.

I really like this color, it makes my hand look pretty and elegant

I think that's about it:D

Since 6 September 2010 I'm officially a student of the Vrije University Amsterdam!
I'm studying Econometrics & Operational research, they're not 2 studies but 1.
It's basically a study including macro economics, mathematic and computational modelling in the first semester and we will get other subjects such as management accounting etc.
In the first semester we have a lot of maths, including calculus!
During lectures for Operational research, we learn how to solve a economical problem based on maths by writing formula's for the certain problem. After we found the optimal solution, we translate the mathematical formula's into a language thats understandable for everyone.

This is a full time study, you really need to spend a lot of time to do your homework. It's not a easy study...
So I really have no time to do other things next to my study
Everyday I try to sleep at 22:30 and the next morning I have to wake up at 6:45
It's important that you get enough sleep, by enough I mean you have to sleep more than 7 hours+ you have to sleep well!
If I don't sleep well, the next morning, it will be difficult for me to stand up and concentrate during the lectures.

BUT life as a "busy"student doesn't automatically means that life is boring, it means that you spend your time to do useful things, you don't waste your time at all!
And since I study in Amsterdam, I can easily take the metro to the city to shop!!!!
BTW, I'm planning going to the MAC store probably next week:P

That's just a quick update of my life as a student=)
I'm really enjoying it, it's like I'm born to study..hahaha
Enjoy your life is the most important thing, be positive and faithful!

I told you guys before that I couldn't wear pink eyeshadow, my mom said that my eyes are weird and swollen when I'm wearing pink eyeshadows.
That's a common problem for asian eyes.
But I want to find a way to wear pink eyeshadows, cuz I think pink eyeshadow is really pretty and I have 2-3 pink eyeshadows that I don't use, and that is such a waste.

Today I combined pink with brown, and tried to wear false lashes to cover up the pink color, so that the pink doesn't look that obvious.

you can use any dark brown and pink, just remember that you have to put pink on the inner side of your eyelids, and brown on the outer side.

Don't put pink up to your brows, that will make you look like you're tired.

Remember, keep it clean, if you make any mistakes, just clean it with a q-tip and start again. Be patient!

It's been a long time since I wrote a month favs blogpost
I didn't had the time in the past few month to write it, but mostly, it's because I forgot to write..hahah how terrible is that?

Okay, so I'm gonna start my August favorites(not only make up)

Let's start with the make up products.
1. Shiseido Integrate eyeshadow palette in BR730
It was supposed to look like this:

And now it looks like this:

This is the eyeshadow palette that never goes wrong, with that I mean, even though you're a beginner, it won't go wrong.
So if I don't have time to create a look by choosing colors from different eyeshadows, I'll always go for this palette.
The color matches all kinds of outfits.
I even took it with me when I went to Korea.

2. Solone magic waterproof eyepencil in black

I swear! This is the best eyeliner pencil that I've used, even better than the MAC one.
It's not a kohl eyeliner pencil, the product is made from kind of gel-liner, but more solid so that it can stays in the pencil.
This brand is a Taiwanese brand calls Solone, everything is made in Taiwan
It's been very popular between the taiwanese make up bloggers. Also the brushes are impressed by the make up guru's, because it's cheap, but it has a good quality
I haven't tried their brushes yet, but I'm sure I will.
The eyeliner comes with 8 colors: Black, sliver black, golden black, brown, silver, blue, silver grey and purple
I got the black one, cuz I thought this color is more useful.

This eyepencil is amazing, it's soft,easy to draw,waterproof and cheap.
I absolutely love this, and I'm definitely going to purchase more in the future.

3. Clinique Superfit make up #65 super neutral

I love this fluid foundation, it appears so natural on your face, it's not heavy/thick at all. And the most important, it doesn't cause me acne!
The coverage is good, and the texture is fluid, not thick.
I've been using this in Taiwan, when it was 33C outside. I didn't have to apply it over and over again in the afternoon, cuz it stays all day long and it does not melt under the sunlight
moreover it's not expensive at all, it was NT$1000, so about 20-23 euro's for 30ml.

4. MAC Cremesheen glass # Over Indulgence

I love love this cremesheen glass, it's so sheen and pretty.
I've been carrying this in my make up bag since I got back in Holland. And I will always take this with me I think=D

5. Shu Uemura UV underbase mousse.

This is the new one, with a new formula. The mousse is more saturated and the SPF was 17 and now upgraded to 30.
I like to use this before applying any kinds of foundation, because it's so light and it makes foundation easier to apply.

6. Majolica Majorca's mascara base and Kose Fasio hyper- stay magne mascara

I've used this mascara base for about an year now, I absolutely love it, it makes my lashes longer and fuller. But you have to combinate it with a good mascara. For me it works the best with Benefit badgal mascara and the Kose Visee curl volume mascara.
This Fasio works also great with this mascara base, but just not as good as the 2 I've mentioned.
I like this mascara in general, there's nothing to complain about this mascara. I like to use it, and I'll keep it in mind that this will always work if I ever needed one for emergency use=P

7. The body shop mineral bronzer in warm glow

8. Sigma SS217 brush and MAC 209SE

I love this SS217 brush, it's so handy and easy to apply any eyeshadow! And even works great with eyeshadow creams!

I got the MAC SE brush set from my aunt. I includes the MAC 209SE, 219SE and the 252SE
I also have this brush in mini size, but I love this travel size even more. It's so easy to apply a thin line. The brush is soft and thin.

9. EVELINE slim extreme intensely slimming+ firming serum

I got this from my aunt, she loves it, it's basically a slimming serum, but it's so cool after you apply it. I always apply it on my legs after a shopping spree, it works great for reducing stress.

The only problem is that I don't know where to purchase it, cuz it's a Polish brand.

10. Clinique 3 step system + turnaround concentrate visible skin renewer+moisture surge+turnaround facial masque.

I love the Clinique 3-steps sytem.
The lotion is so clarifying, the gel is gentle and moist, the facial wash is gentle and cleans your face well.
I can't describe how much I love this skincare line. It makes my skin looks better, and I can tell, it also makes my skin healthier.
I also purchased the turnaround concentrate.
Here's the description from the official site:

R--> The body shop blush + bronzer

Recently I got the blush from the Body Shop, it was free, because I got the eighth heart of the Love Your Body member card
The new membercard looks like this:

By getting the eighth heart/point you can choose a product that's worth 15 euro's, so I chose this blush.
It's from the new mineral make up line I think...
anyways, when I saw this line for the first time, I thought of the mineral line from MAC.

This blush looks like the blushes from the Grand Duo colletion. I can't say which one this blush looks like, because I don't own any blush from the Grand Duo colletion( I do own a duo mineralize blush from the Too Fabulous colletion)
If I look at the swatches from the Grand Duo colletion, this one looks a little bit like Intenso. But I'm sure it's not a dupe of it
There are 2 shades, one is more pink(probably looks like the Moon River mineralize blush from MAC)
This shade is called: Coral
The texture is soft and the color is sheer, it has a little bit of glow on it
It's actually very pretty when I look at it, and I'm sure it's also pretty on your cheeks=)

You can use the peachy color for highlighting and the pinky color just for blush

The packaging looks cheap, but it's actually from a good quality, so if you take care of it, I think I should last till the end?

I also got the bronzer a few months ago, I thought I write it in the same post cuz they're both from the same line.
I remember I got the bronze because there was a 30% off discount(+10% from your love your body card) on the make up line. This one costs 8 euro's, not expensive at all!!
This one makes think of the Mineralize skinfinishes from MAC.
I do have 1 MSF from MAC, it's the MSF in Gold Deposit
It looks a little more brown than this one...
There are only 2 shades, one is darker(probably as dark as the Gold deposit MSF) I wish they had more shades
I got the lighter shade, it's called: Warm glow

First I wasn't really interested in this product
But then I tried it...it's AMAZING
It added a healthy glow on my face, even my mom asked me what I've used.
after I told her what I used, she borrowed it everyday till I took it with me on vacation!

The texture is also soft. I just use the ELF powder brush to apply it on my face.

I got this cremesheen glass when I was in Korea.
We went to the biggest outlet from Korea, they have brands like COACH, GUCCI, Addidas, Nike, Lacoste etc.
But there was also a cosmetics outlet....they have brands like Bobbi Brown, Shu Uemura, Estee Lauder and MAC!!!!
I was kinda decided that I am going to buy something...
there wasn't a lot of items, most of products are from a certain collection but not sold out yet, like the eyeshadows from the style warriors collection. But there were also permanent items like the fluidline and eyeliner pencils...I don't know why they were there..

This cremesheen glass is from the Too fabulous collection that was launched in March 2010(international)
But the cremesheen glasses are permanent
I also got the Bi-tone mineralize blush from this collection, but not at the outlet store.

I can't remember how much does it cost....I thought it was around $10,- 13 euro's
much cheaper than in the netherlands even in taiwan and the US.( duuh it's an outlet, it's supposed to be cheaper.hahah)
for only $10, it's worth a try!?
I've never used cremesheen glasses before, and to be honest, I wasn't that interested in that either.
But then I got this, and I totally fell in love with it
It's not sticky at all...like the dazzlegalsses
Even it has the same packaging as the dazzleglasses, the brush is different....
The dazzleglass has lip brushes unlike the cremesheen glass. It has a hairy thing as an applicator. I perefer both, as long as it's easy to apply....

The pigmentation is great, the color on your lips looks just like the color in the glass itself.
The color is brownish, very sheer and it's not sticky at all, it stays for a couple of hours, sure 3-4 hours.

The smell is just like the "MAC smell" kinda vanilla!

it's been a long time since I did a look
I remember the last time was the look from Elva from her latest album: Diamond candy

Today I did a look that was inpired by the music video from Park Bom
She's from a Korean girls group called 2NE1
This song(You and I) is her single
After I heard this song, I totaly fell in love with it, so I decided to do a look that was inspired by her make up in this music video.

Here is the music video:

hehe...she's so pretty(whether she had plastic surgery or not, I don't care)

The focus will be on the eyeliner, her eyes are actually prettty small, she used eyeliner to make her eyes look bigger.
I did the same by filling the outer parts of my eyes with black gel-liner
also the waterline and the upper inner eyeline(invisible eyeline) have to be filled
eventhough she has long lashes, but I think it won't make any difference, because the eyeliner is already black enough, and you might won't be able to see the lashes, so I didn't focus on the eyelashes, I just put on regular mascara that I use everyday.
I just used a dark brown eyeshadow for my eyelids to make the look more focused on the eyes,,,you can use any kind of dark brown, it won't be a problem
And the base make up is also important, because you want that flawless face to make your eyes look more intense

Last but not least, the lips, she has rosy lips, and I don't xD
So I used the benefit lip plump(it's actually a lip concealer) to cover my own lip color. For the rosy lips I use the NYX roundlipstick in Fig

Hay, its been a long time "again" since I promised that I'll write a blog soon.
Life is getting better and organized than before
As you know I was on vacation for about 7 weeks, 6 weeks in Taiwan and 1 week in Korea.
I couldn't update because of many reasons, mostly because I was too busy
I could spend 12 hours outside without sitting down or getting tired
1 day I even walked on my 8cm heels trough Taipei city...can you imagine that?
well, the only thing I know is that I won't do that again
cuz the streets aren't placed well in some places in Taipei, so I fell...
after I fell, the first thing that I cared about was..."are my new high heels damaged?" and then....after I crossed the street..I noticed that my knee was bleeding xD

The week before I came back to Holland, I went to South Korea with my super young looking aunt who's already 36 xD and her friend
we went with a group, and booked via a travel site.
There were too many kids in our group, and as you know..I really "Don't like" kids
but luckly..the kids in our group were nice and well-behaved( except one little weird kid that wanted to marry my aunt xD)
The whole schedule was planned for 6 days
The first day was flying to Korea and having dinner nearby the hotel
We fly with cathay pacific from Taiwan Taoyuan International airport to Incheon International airport(The best aiport!!!)
took only 2 hours to get there, I couldn't even watch a movie~~

after we arrived there, we took the hotel shuttle bus to the hotel for unloading our bagages and then walked to the restaurant nearby the hotel.
We had squid hot fondue as dinner

Every Korean meal has to serve 4 or more small dishes like kimchi and preserved seaweed or chinese radish
our tour guide told us, usually Korean people have 2 dishes of kimchi served with rice for breakfirst, 4 dishes of kimchi serverd with rice for lunch and 6 dishes of kimchi serverd with rice..hahaha
So their meals are very simple...hot rice is even a "must need"

That night we spend the night at Best Western Hotel in Incheon

The next day, after we had our breakfirst, we took the tourbus to Nami Island...It is located in Chuncheon(mainland) but it's an island?
anyways..this island was named after general Nami

This is the entrance...
in case you're wondering why the white sheets are hanging there...
It's because Korean people believe that the white color can drive out the evil spirit. And it also has a history behind this belief.
Long time ago the first emperor of the Qin dynasty(China) heard that people of the Korean peninsula are long-lived, so he send a general(I forgot his name) to the Korean peninsula to seek for the longlife medicine.
But the general likes the Korean peninsula very much, and wanted to stay there and never go back to China.
After quite a long time, the emperor worried that the general might took the longlife pills for himself, so he send an other group of soldiers to the Korean peninsula to bring the general back.
The general got the message and had an idea....he hanged full of white sheets at the coast, because he knew that white is an unproptious color in China, people only wore white when somebody dies
So before the ship reached the coast, a soldier saw the white sheets, they knew that was a message telling them that the general has died, so they returned back to China without getting on the mainland

The story went on so overwhelmingly popular even to the present, and that's why Korean people believe "white" can drive out the evil spirit.

So that was the story behind the white sheets.
Nami Island was known because of a Korean tv drama called "winter sonata", because they have filmed there.
I haven't saw the drama yet, so I was not really interested in where they exactly have filmed.
The only nice thing about the island was the beautiful trees...wherever you took the picture, it's always beautiful

it's chicken with cabbage and Korean rice cake.
it was nice and delicious, mostly because of the spicy Korean saus

After we had lunch, we went to "greenland" the Korean spa centre

we went to the famous Korean jjimjilbang=infrared suana
it was amazing...i mean the effect was amazing...I was in there about 20 minutes, more pores are all open...I was sweating like a pig:Z but it was healthy, especally for people like me who doesn't sweat so often....

and ofcourse we had their special clothes on...I always see this outfit in Korean drama's

The next day we went the biggest outlet of Korea and then heading off to make kimchi....
I bought a pair of Nike sneakers only for 30 euro's and MAC's cremesheen gloss in "over indulgence"( I'll write about it in an other blogpost)
for people who don't know what kimchi is....kimchi is chinese cabbage preserved with salt and spice.

For lunch we had bibimbap...that is vegatables mixed with rice and egg, it's very healthy and delicious
It's the most delicious meal that I've ate in Korea

After we had lunch, we went tried on Korean traditional clothes

everybody sais that I looked like a Korean...hahahaha
should I be happy about it?

And then...most exciting schdule for the kids...EVERLAND!!!
It's a theme park with a lots of amusement facilities like merry go round, bumper cars, roller coaster and what so ever. It even has its own zoo, we've visited there in a tour bus.

We had so much fun there, and everybody was exhausted in the bus.

The next day morning we went to the Suwon hwaseong fortress, its a wall that surrounds the centre of Suwon.

After that we went to Cheongwadae and Gyeongbokgung.
Cheongwadae is the presidential palace of South Korea, and Gyeongbokgung is the palace and it's located near the Cheongwadae..

a lot of history makes me feel a little bit heavy-laden. But the next schedule totaly cought my mind...because...we are going to Dongdaemun!!! It's the biggest shopping centre in Seoul...it opens from 10:30 AM-05:30 AM!!!! See how that cought my mind? hahahaha

Ofcourse I bought a lot of clothes...well not a lot after I came back...
cuz I only got 4 pieces of clothes and I gave 2 away after I came back from Korea
But I'm sure..If I ever have the chance to live there, I'll definetily go there every week for shopping....cuz it;s the worlds best shopping palace!!! hahaha

Well. time is passing by every quick...we're about to go home..
our last day in Korea was okay but nice!
First we went to Seoul tower and teddy bear museum
we had so much fun n the teddy bear museum...
the teddy bears are sooo cute=D

I bought alot of masks at the Baviphat store, it's a Korean brand of skincare and make up.
AND I finally had the traditional tteok-ppok-kki, it's spicy Korean rice cake
I dreamed to eat it for YEARS.,,,now my dream finally comes true...yummy it;s so delicious

I think that's about it....
I had fun in Korea...
This trip makes me want to live in Korea and learn the Korean language..
I don't know why I have this obsession with KOREA...
maybe I'll figure it out some day...maybe I was a Korean in my past life?
Ooh god,,,pls let me meet some Korean hot guy, so I can marry him and move to Korea for good...hahhaha
okay just kidding...that's just an imagination and a weird dream of mine!!

ILS--> Clinique Brush Cleanser

Today I'm gonna review this brush cleanser from Clinique
The reason why I got this is because my old one( from make up forever) was empty and I needed to spare more points for my Clinique VIP card( every TW dollar I spend is one point)
So I got this brush cleanser...cuz I needed it anyway..

This one is 236 ml and it has a pink color, no box
It has a "good"spray on itself...and why am I saying "good"spray..
Cuz the old one.from make up forever will leak when I spray it directly on my brushes, so I needed to put it into a smaller container with a spray.

I can't say too much about this brush cleanser, the only thing I can do is compare this one with my old one from make up forever.

Differences:
Clinique: has foam when you spray it on your brushes, I don't know what it is for, but as long as it doesn't damage your brushes I don't think it bothers me :P
No alcohol smell, that's pretty good
236 ml, 400 NTDollars( about 10 euro's) $13 at Sephora.com

Make up forever: No foam. Alcohol smell is strong. bad spray. Cleans my brushes pretty well.
210 ml, 11,50 euro's( not sure) $17 at Sephora.com

I hope this review gives you an idea when you're looking for brush cleansers!

Long time no see(Again)

As you know(from the title)...I'm in Taiwan(as usual) for the whole summer vacation
I'm writing this blog in case you didn't know where I've been for the past 3-4 weeks

In June, my family(from my mothers side) came from Taiwan to visit us
My sister decided to come back to Holland for good ...to study
They went to Czech Republik and Berlin to travel, I didn't go with them
Cuz I wasn't sure if I passed the final exam, and if I didn't I had to do a retake in the periode when they were in Czech.

It's okay, cuz I've been to Czech once last year April.
After they came back from Czech and Berlin, we went to France and Belgium for the weekend
We went to Mont St. Michel, It's in Normandy
And then we went to Brussels

And here I am...hahah In the other side of the world=D
In Asia=D My HOME

And ofcourse I spend a lot of money....
Just like last year...How am I going to survive in the upcoming 5 weeks?

BTW, I'm going to South Korea to travel in August with my aunt and her friend
We are going for 6 days, I'm so excited...and I'm looking forward to it=D
In the end of August I'll be back in Holland to get ready for U-N-I-V-E-R-S-I-T-Y!!!!

ILS-iPod touch

Maybe you all know, I bought an Ipod Touch

Yeah I did, though I WAS against Apple, I hated iTunes and all those accesories that were specially made for Ipods, not that they aren't cute, it's just unfair for other mp3/4 players brands.
They are a monopoly!
I love my Sony mp4, but there are just too little accesories and products to support that poor thing,
but that's not the main reason why I replaced it.
It's that the one I have, had only of 4GB memories, and that was enough for me in the beginning, but then everytime I add new songs I had to delete my old songs, I hate doing that!!
So I was looking for a new mp3/4 player, I've always been satisfied about the Sony ones, cuz I don't have to use iTunes and that kinda stupid programmes
But I couldn't find any, so I started to look at the Apples.
Then I thought, an Ipod touch is pretty cool, and I saw that one from Yuki too!
First I wanted 32GB, cuz I wanted to make sure that I always have enough space to keep my music.
When I looked at the price...OMG 280Euro's? CONFUSING....
And since there's no 16GB for the 3rd generation, I got 8GB.

since this is a make up blog and I am not really good at introducing/describing electronic accessories so I'll stop here with talking, and show you some pics.

So don't blaim people who buy Apple products, cuz costumers are the most honest ones
They won't spend their money on something less fun when they have the choice and ability to purchase the better ones.

This is going to be a haul post...
Since I finished my final exams, I had the time to buy some clothes

I swear....I have no clothes....I mean summer clothes
I left all my summer clothes in Taiwan, so I don't have any here..
Most girls' closet are like "exploded", but mine is like...sharing space with my 40 bags?

haha nevermind..
So I had a shopping spree with Warhien
We both bought a lot of clothes, cuz we said to each other:"We're not going home without buying any clothes!"
I spend like 100 euro's most at the Zara
They have nice pieces this season, as opposed to the H&M
I was suprised that I didn't buy any clothes at the H&M xD

First, this one piece all black dress from Zara
You can wear it in so many ways, with a nice belt or something like that
(sorry for the pics quality, cuz I captured it at night, the lightning wasn't the best and I couldn't turn on the flash=_=)

I already had this shirt in navy, almost black
This one is in baby pink, I really liked the upper sleeve

I got this skirt to combine it with this shirt
This kind of skirts are IN now xD I wasn't sure if I should wear it in here, I mean in Holland
cuz it's a little bit chill here, and when it gets dark, it will be really cold sometimes...

So I wasn't sure if I'm going to wear this skirt..but anyways, it's also nice to have it?!

And then we went to the Vero Moda..I was sure that I could always get something there, cuz Vero Moda is one of my favorite stores in the Netherlands...except they never have airco on in the store in Almere =_= it's always so hot there..! It makes me wonder if they have one?
But yeah, I got this autumn jacket with a discount (20% off)

I was like? Why not...? So I bought it
It's all black, I'm not sure if I can wear it now? I guess not?!

This dress? One piece shirt? I don't know how to define what it is, because of the fact that you can wear it as a dress and as a shirt?

I got this one in XL cuz I want it to look saggy and not very tight or something....

I like the colors, but I since I turned back to the "basics" I don't know if these colors still fit me?
Someday I put on Lapis of Luxury(The blue one) and my mom said it's ugly
But I didn't think that, so I went to work with this color
and Sonia(my boss' wife) said: yielh...are you a whitch or something? I rather see you with red nailpolish than blue!=_=
Then I looked my nails...I did looked like a whitch..the color was weird=_=
But anyways...glad that I didn't bought the normal size...

I got myself this Smashbox eyeshadow trio as I stopped by the ICI Paris XL
They removed the Smashbox counter, which I think it's a shame..cuz I really want to try more Smashbox products..
I was so happy at the time I discovered that our ICI Paris XL in Almere has a Smashbox counter!
But yeah...I did get 2 products of Smashbox with 40% off...
Anyways, I got this eyeshadow trio, it doesn't have a name...what a shame!

The colors are not from the same finish, the dark brown one has a matt finish
, the yellow/gold one is...some thing between MAC's frost and starflash and the pink one is a frost I think...
I love this eyeshadow trio, I've been using this during the 2 weeks that i had my finals..
It's so easy to apply..I mean you don't have to combine mono eyeshadows to make a look, it's already combined, 3 beautiful colors with different finishes. And that's why I keep buying eyeshadow quads/trio's
The pigmentation is perfect, and the consistency is nice too...nicely pressed, not too many fall outs
But I really think you have to take care when you're applying the dark brown one, cuz the powder is very tiny, if you are not using a brush which picks a lot of the product, you'll have brown eyeshadow all over your face xD

I said I've been using this for almost everyday that I even have a dent on the yellow one...I hope I can hit the pan soon...that makes me proud of myself!

Next I got some random stuff...earrings, hairclip etc
And I got the tea tree oil from The Body Shop..it claims to reduce blemishes
But what I've experienced is that it only makes me feel pain=_= When I apply it, it's burning like hell....it doesn't even reduce any blemishes, it even made my blemishes worse!
And the facial brush is too hard...It was like hell to brush it all over my face..
How gently I tried to brush it..it still causes me pain...
I can't not imagine why this facial brush works on other people, and why it's so highly recommended!?

I purchased 2 more brushes from e.l.f.com when it was free shipping, I actually got more last month...
The hypershine glosses claim that they're as good as the Stila ones...
I don't own any stila glosses but the thing I know is: what elf claims is bull shit
These glosses are like crap!!! eventough they only cost me 1,70 euro's each
But still...I'll rather save that money to buy their high quality brushes of 3,96 euro's each than buy these crap=_=
I swear, these brushes are soo nice! Very good quality...synthetic hair, doesn't shed, picks up pigments well...and they're only 3,96 euro's each! What can I say more about these brushes? GO BUY THEM!
I own 7 e.l.f brushes, they're all from their Studio line..
I got a complextion brush, a blush brush, a powder brush(THE BEST brush for foundation), 2 contour brushes, an eyeshadow C brush, a small angled brush

It's been a really long time ago since i've posted my last blog
Since this is a beauty blog I'm going to keep this short

Well, first, I just finished my very last final exam yesterday
It was a tough time to go through, cause I'm really not the nerdiest nerd in my class
I don't have very good grades so I really have to work on it to pass my final exams
So I started a month before my exams..but honestly study 12 hours a day wasnt going to work
that is impossible
I did some fun things, like shopping....It's also impossible for me to not to shop xD
I'm born to spend money, I'm born to shop!
Now that it's over, I'm free like a bird, and I can start blogging again!
Start from now I have 3 months of vacation
I have a lot of idea's for this blog, so keep follow me!

Long time no see

Let me do a 'Murmur' first

It was Springvacation last week

I didn't do a lot for school, which I should do

But I had the feeling that I need to relax, so I dicided to do nothing, just like always

I watched a new Taiwanese serie called Down with love

It's still on the TV in taiwan, but the DVD version is already released

I like this serie, it's so funny and the story is something new

And about an other serie: Next Stop, Happiness(Autumn's Concerto)

It has become my favorite serie next to "It started with a kiss"

Last week was it's last episode

Happy ending..YAY

And about the vacation, seeing that I didn't do a lot for school, I had to do something,

and that is work, I worked 32hours last week, and just broke the record

I enjoyed working times, because I have a lot of funny colleagues and they are all very nice

I wasn't planning to work a lot, because I was planning to do a lot for school, which didn't came out...

For what I've earned 32hours of working, I spoiled myself for working hard

I spend 43euro's at The Body Shop and got myself my first Apple- An Ipod Touch

Anyways

My vacation was boring

Long time no see=P
Actually I was pretty busy the last month with my masterpiece which is about make up, so I didn't had the time to write blog, do something for myself, even for make up!!! If you have see me lately, I haven't wear that much make up....or not at all!!! XD
Moreover I was so stressed that I don't even got time to shop, I mean go to the city!! It was a horrible time..without shopping
But I did shop on Ebay( another kind of shopping), which I'm going to write about, THIS MONTH
About my Essence of Beauty brushes!

For the presentation, I wanted to look professional, so I went to the H&M, the first place I'll go for a specific outfit, bc, you can find almost everything there, and the shop is great!
It's not that I'm going to wear it just once for this presentation, but I can also wear this for an interview or some official occasions

I Do look very smart right??? HAHAH

I got this lipgloss from an uncle as a Christmas present(one of all those MAC goodies he gave me)
He got this in Taiwan last year when the Holliday Collection of MAC was still on sale.

I really like this color, it has a pinky/orangy base and purple, orange, and gold glitters
It reflects very beautiful in the sunlight

Just as every dazzleglass, it's sticky and has a standard MAC vanilla smell.
What I've notice is this dazzleglass won't make my lips have that white membrane
I don't know if they changed the ingredients, but I always have that white membran with my other 2 dazzleglasses.

It last very long just like normal, I did not lost any glitter in 5 hours and it's like I just applied it.
And I'm sure that it can last longer than 5 hours.

The fact that I don't have that pale skin like hers, I used a whiter tone foundation.
I didn't shaped my eyebrows, but mine look almost the same as hers, exept the color.

After applying the face part-including covering my dark circles and imperfections- I used TFSI and MAC p/p #Bare Study as eyeshadow base, also on my lower lashline.
Eyeshadow part: the orange color, I didn't went to my crease, but Elva does, I have to be very careful with orange/pink eyeshadows, it can make me looking tired.
She countoured her nose bone with a darke brown eyeshadow/rouge up from her brows to the side of her nose bone, so I did it too with a smaller eyeshadow brush, in this case I used Smashbox blending brush #03

I couldn't create the same lipcolor as hers, but I tried my best, I used benefit lip plump for covering my own lipcolor to wear a lighter lipstick.
I think I applied the wrong lipgloss. Her lipcolor on the picture is more coral/pink, but I don't own any coral/pink lipgloss....

Heey heey,

2 weeks ago I pressed my broken eyeshadow MAC Fineshine

And it was a succes, so I decided to press my pigments too

I followed the tutorial video from Enkore make-up

I think it's easy to follow, especially when you're not that good in DIY's, just like me

I tried to find some empty eyeshadow cans(or something like that) in the city, but I couldn't find them, so I decided to look on Ebay(which is bad for me, bc I ordered 2 more things that time=_=) for empty PALETTES! Then I found one palette including 15 empty cans with a diameter of 26mm, that is more or less the size of a 50 eurocent.

This palette's perfect for pressing eyeshadows, bc the cans are not stick on the palette itself and it was only $8.99 or something(I can't even remember=P)

The case is black and undecorated.

Year ago, I got 10 pieces of MAC pigments (sample size) in the following colors:

Teal (Which I gave to Paola, bc I got an other one in SE size)

Emeral Green

Golden Olive

Golden Lemon

Violet

Rose

Steel Blue

Electric coral

Your Ladyship

Vanilla

And I also have 5 SE pigments in:

But I only pressed the first 4, bc I wasn't sure if this method will work with MAC glitters.

besides, i made my own eyeshadows:

I just mixed eyeshadows, pigments together...

Don't ask me which one I used, bc I don't even remember it=_=

Ooh yeah I also pressed GOSH effect powder in Rose Gold and Blue bell

I can say, the color before and after pressing is almost the same, some are even more beautiful!

As I said, you can't even see the difference, my mother says that the color after pressing is more beautiful than the color in loose powder.

All you need is a small bottle of alcohol, I got it from the Kruidvat for 1-2 EURO's

And it's 96% Alcohol, it smells like perfume=_= it does not have a alcohol smell

Besides I used the AH coin for shopping cart and a kitchen towel for pressing the eyeshadows.

Because of the small amount of the sample size MAC pigments, I pressed 2 colors in 1 can. And I accidentaly add too much alcohol in Vanilla, so I decided to mix Vanilla(with too much alcohol) with Emeral Green. And I put it together with Your Ladyship. It's kinda good combination though, makes me thinking of Paul & Joe..dunno why...haha?

Every time just add a small amout alcohol and mix the pigments with a tool(Just like what Koren has, I have that in a smaller size)

After pressing, I decorated the case MY eyeshadow palette with stickers. You can do it too, use your creativity=) you can use any thing you want...Lace, stickers or just left it undecorated:P Keep it simple..

Result:

Quietly-> Home made eyeshadow-> Home made eyeshadow-> Pink Mauve

I am planning to make/mix some eyeshadows, and press them into those 3 left pans.

2 Feb.

My pressed Gosh Effect Powder broke for the second time, so I decided to throw it away, bc I pressed it twice, and I don't know if it's still going to work for the third time, and I still have a lot left in my original packaging.

BUT Rose Gold(The other color of GOSH) Didn't broke...I don't know why, I also pressed it twice=S (Confused)

R--> HairTec Intensive hair mask

Last time, I used a cheap ass shampoo that made my hair very dry and damaged

I got this hair mask from my aunt, she got me 2 packs of 3 hairmasks.

She said this Malaysian brand is very cheap but good, she uses a lot of their products.

She also bought me face scrub, shampoo, conditioner, hair cream and even feminine pads and panty liners!!

My friend Juy told me about her hair mask experience. She said, few weeks after she curled her hair permanent, she used hair mask, and after using that her hair became straight just like she never curled her hair! So she has to curl it once again!

After hearing this from her, I was worried about the same problem will happen to me, so I never used this hair mask before I got this damaged hair by using cheap shampoo.

Anyways,

This hair mask has a good smell, but it smells a little bit like Man perfume=_=

Actually, I forgot how long I should leave the mask on. So I left it on for almost 20 minutes.

I absolutely love brown...

In Asia, they define my skin color as TINTED! And that's why I never use bronzing products during summer or on vacation

My grandma thinks that my mother dronk sojasaus during her pregnancy, so that's why I am so tinted..haha

I know it's very weird to read this, but asian people think pale-skin identifies beauty

So do I, but I'm not going to change myself for this norm, I think a little bit tinted looks healthier and more natural.

So I'm happy about my skin color.

Besides make up, I'm also a shoe addict

when I'm in taiwan I love to buy shoes online and/or at shopping malls, most of them are cheap and has a good quality

The online shopping mall from Yahoo Taiwan is the most popular and safe website

They sell everything=_= Shoes, clothes, bags...everything
It's very easy to pay, but they only ship in Taiwan:(

Saturday I went to Juy's mother to get a new haircut...

I didn't want to change a lot, just cut the dry dead hair off

Then I saw a haircut in the magazine

then I decided to cut same haircut as the model

I got bangs, it seems like it's now IN

suddenly everybody has bangs...

This haircut is actually very familiar with my old haircuts

AND I dyed my hair...

It's dark brown, I don't want it to be too obvious

and my dad is kinda being difficult about coloring my hair(so he doesn't know about this yet)

I got number 5 Light Brown from Loreal Excellence Creme

Because I have black hair, so the color will be more darker than the official color(Light Brown)

I'm very emotional the last few days, I cried everyday, the reason of being that is: I lost my bracelet that my father gave me for my 18th birthday, the bracelet is made from real silver and it's very expensive, so I feel terrible that I lost it

I would like to pray everyday, just hope that I can find it back someday

Maybe you won't understand, but I really miss my father..

he is so far away, I only see him in the summer vacation when I'm back in Taiwan

wearing the bracelet is just like he is with me, and when I lost it...feels like he's gone

I'm so desperate, just give me back my bracelet, I'm willing to pay 500 euro's

I just want my bracelet back=(
